This was a collaboration with the NBC News Investigations Unit. They did some amazing reporting on deaths at Airbnb properties due to carbon monoxide poisoning, and I worked with them to adapt part of their writing into a package script. Obviously, a story like this is very delicate, due to the sensitive subject matter but also due to the liabilities of doing a story about death and major corporations. I worked closely with our legal department and the investigations team to make sure the script was buttoned up on both fronts. I also edited the piece and produced the segment.
