unfinished country (2017) is an experimental found-footage and found-audio project I created for a class. I used an audio excerpt of Werner Herzog describing the rainforest from the documentary Burden of Dreams (1982) and juxtaposed it with archival footage of humanity and its interaction with nature and itself.
